Liberian International striker, Bill Sheriff is
said to be on fire in Nigeria where he has so far scored a goal in two
matches for Heartland FC as the Nigerian premiership heats on.
According to information gathered, the former
Liberia’s Black Star striker played his first match for Heartland FC
on Sunday, November 22, 2009 against Enyeama FC where the epic match
ended zero all, and played the second against Worri Wolves in his side
3-2 edging.
The reports say the Liberian scored Heartland
second goal and was said to have performed marvelously.
Further reports have also indicated that Bill,
who earned BSc Degree in Politician Science from the University of
Liberia (UL), expressed delight after such fantastic performance where
he was hailed by the Nigerian press as well as officials and teammates
of Heartland FC.
He is set to play his third match for the
Nigerian 2008 premiership champions later next week.
Bill Sheriff made his international debut for the
Senior National team of Liberia, Lone Star in 2008 against Sudan in
Khartoum where Liberia won that FIFA sectioned friendly match 2-0
under than German coach, Antoine Hey.
He also made several appearances and showed great
performances for the national team of Liberia, Lone Star.
He was an integral member of Liberia’s Black Star
squad when the team clinched the treble in the Liberia Football
Association (LFA) premiership in 2008.
In 2008, Liberia’s Black Star won the LFA
premiership, Knockout as well as the Super cup which is usually played
between the top flight winner and the knockout winner.
