A former President of the Sports Writers Association of Liberia says
LFA Presidential hopeful Mr. Musa Bility does not have the experience
to lead the local football house.
The Wantaga FC President declared his intention for the highly
political post on Monday at a news conference in Monrovia.
But Mr. Momolu V.O. Sirleaf told Star Sports the newly elected LFA
Executive Committee member is not a presidential material.
He observed Mr. Bility has failed to transform Wantaga FC (the club he
heads as president) from a club that is dormant to a more vibrant
institution.
“I don’t think he’s the right man for the job. I think he’s the wrong
man, at a wrong time, and wants to go in the wrong place” Mr. Sirleaf
noted.
The veteran Liberian sports journalist maintained the LFA needs a
president that is knowledgeable and can execute plans that they would
set for the institution something he said Mr. Bility was lacking.
Mr. Sirleaf clarified that he was not attacking the personality of the
Wantaga FC Boss but said he was only speaking the reality.
He said for too long the sport was been managed by people with selfish
motive and said it was now time to put people into power who are
passionate about moving it forward.
The former SWAL president is not the only one questioning the ability
of Mr. Musa Bility to lead the LFA to nobility.
Many Liberian football followers have been raising similar concerns
mentioned by him.
