Bility In Guinea, Not UAE
So-called Favorite Lies Again

As the campaign for the leadership of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) gains momentum, the Chairman of the National Mandingo Caucus, Mr. Musa Hasan Bility has committed a major political blunder by lying to his voters.

Contrary to reports that the cement and petroleum dealer has traveled to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the Middle East to seek sponsorship for Liberian football, a serious investigation conducted revealed that the flamboyant LFA candidate for President has traveled to sympathize with his kinsmen across the Liberian borders in Guinea following the recent crisis in Lofa that resulted into the burning of churches and schools. It has been gathered that Chairman Bility was seen over the weekend in Macenta, a border town in Guinea.

His trip to Guinea should not be surprising in that Chairman Bility is the head of the newest opposition party called the Democratic Alliance. It is believed that like he did in 2005 for President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, the LFA candidate hopes to offer the support of the National Mandingo Caucus to his new found political sanctuary.

The latest development has killed the initial impression voters got from the pronouncement that the alleged trip to the Middle East by the petroleum dealer was a manifestation of one of the numerous promises he made under the guise of transforming Liberian football.

Accordingly, there now exists a feeling of disappointment and disenchantments on the part of the possible voters of Chairman Bility.

At a strategy meeting for Chairman Bility held yesterday, some of the voters expressed outrage and surprise that so soon a person whom they see as the savior of Liberian football is the one now misleading the stakeholders.

This is not the first time that Chairman Bility has lied. He had earlier disclosed that matches of his club Watanga FC would be televised on Real TV, his personal station. He also promised that at times Watanga matches would be viewed on DSTV. Yet, as things stand, Watanga is one of the least in terms of incentives, thus creating the disbelief regarding the ability of the presidential contender to make good the vows he is making now.
