Ben Martin Signs
In Israel

LISCR FC striker Ben Martin has signed a two year loan deal in Israel.
Martin during the week signed for Hapoel Ako FC in the Israeli premier
league. The player arrived in that country few weeks ago for trial
with the club.
The player returned to Liberia late last year from Zambia where he
completed a two year loan deal with top Zambian club Zesco United. The
signing of Ben Martin has brought the number of four LISCR players on
loan to that country. The players include: George Baysah and Patrick
Doeplah of Kafar Saba’s and Gizzie Dorbor of Maccabi Batyam.
According to a communication from the players’ agent Shachar
Greenberg, the players are doing well and urged them to continue as
their performances will open the doors for more Liberian players. He
said the players have shown to the football fans of Israeli and Europe
that there’s a spark of potential talents in Liberia despite the
difficult role face by Liberian football.
Greenberg then praised the LISCR Trust Company family and the
President of LISCR FC Mustapha Raji. The players, agent said Mr. Raji
must be commended for his support to youth football and his vision of
improving Liberian football through the marketing of football which is
a direct means of strengthening level the national team of Liberia.
“Finding someone in Liberia now to cater to youthful players is
difficult and Raji must be commended” he said.
According to him, Mustapha Raji was the one that made him turned to
Liberia and he’s grateful to him.
