Barrolle outs
LISCR FC

Written by Anthony A. Stephens
Mighty Barrolle are through to the next round of this year’s LFA Knock
Out competition.
The Rollers made it to next round of the competition with an emphatic
4-3 penalty shootout victory over LISCR FC on Tuesday at the ATS,
after regular time ended 1 all.
Mohmmed Varney had put LISCR up on 20th minute from a nice set piece
before Nzuhon Kulala drew level for the Kanyan Peper Boys in the 47th
minute from the spot.
Ghanefo Kromah poorly glanced a real opportunity that could have given
LISCR their second on the afternoon following a gifted Frank Nagbe
pass mid way through the second half.
A great run down the right flank by Barrolle’s Skipper Kulala was
followed by a wonderful cross but Sam Andrews ran faster than he
should.
Elsewhere at the Nancy B. Doe Stadium in Kakata, Barrolle traditional
rivals Invincible Eleven also confirmed their place into the next
round of the competition with a promising 1-0 edging of Wantaga FC.
FC AK Liberia pinned USA FC 2-1 in the earlier kickoff there.
Earlier on at the ATS, Pro Anchors convincingly defeated Determined
Girls 2-0.
The competition continues today at the same venues with the same round
of matches taking place.
BF Rangers will take on World Girls in game one.
Game two will witness defending champions Black Stars FC battling
things out with Barrack
Young Controllers in what promises to be a crowd pulling engagement.
At the Nancy B. Doe Stadium in Kakata, Roza FC will face LTC
Satellite.
The final fixture there will bring LPRC Oilers up against UMC Roots.
