Mighty Barrolle has won the championship of the LFA 2009 Premier league.

This is because their main contender Barrack Young Controllers fell surprisingly 2-1 at the hands of Jubilee FC on Thursday at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.

Alfred Gibson got both goals for Jubilee who also survived relegation, while Andrew Swaray pulled the consolation for the Dark Horses.

The championship is the Rollers 3rd in the six year history of the premiership.

The Kanyan Pepper Boys will officially be crowned as champions on the final day of their premiership campaign on Sunday at home to Jubilee FC.

Mighty Barrolle scored an impressive win on Wednesday to make sure of the title.

The premiership giants beat USA FC 2-0 at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.

Weaker Wesseh and Dhanjudu Sawmadah scored both goals of the Rollers.

This meant that they only needed a point at home against Jubilee on Sunday in Buchannan, Grand Bassa County to lift their third premiership crown but such is no more a necessity.

Also on Wednesday LPRC Oilers defeated Gedi and Sons with the same score line at the Nancy B. Doe Stadium in Kakata.
