Barrolle Still On Top

The battle for the Liberia Football Association (LFA) championship titles continues over weekend at several venues; with Mighty Barrolle continuous to maintain her lead in the Premiership division.

The Rollers played on her home ground at the Doris Williams Sports Stadium in Buchanan, Grand Bassa Country forced current title holder LPRC-Oilers to a one all draw.

The Oilers boys was the first to opening the curtain raiser through Alex Chico Brown to the surprise of the many Rollers supporters who jam pack the Doris Williams Sports Stadium.

But the Barrolle hit man Nuzohn Kulala stood between Oilers and grace before founding the equalized for the side.

The Kulala vital goal for Mighty Barrolle has increase his chances for the LFA top scorer award with 8goals to his credit so far.

In same Premiership division, Mustapha Raji LISCR F.C felled to move on the top when they were hailed to one all draw NPA-Anchors at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS). Mardie Rennie was the one who put the LISCR ahead before NPA-Anchors lift-wing back Yancy Mahn 25th minute yard shut level the score. They are still behind the Rollers in goals difference on the eight team's log.

In Unification Town, Margibi County Samuel Karn, Karn United score a convincing 4-2 victory over Zeors F.C in their quest for the first division title.

The United prolific scorer Samuel Answers score a hat-trick.

The late match saw relegated ban Bassa Defenders forfeiting to Premiership hopeful Invincible Eleven.

This is the third time the Defenders have forfeited in the ongoing LFA first division competition.

Sources close to the local football house say the Defenders risk to ban and fine in line with the rule and regulation after felling to forfeiting three matches in roll.
