Garmondeh Karnga’s Mighty Barrolle continued her terrific performance so far in the Liberia Football Association (LFA) premiership with a 1-0 edging of youthful LFA premiership outfit Barrack Young Controller (BYC) at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) in Monrovia yesterday, Thursday, September 3, 2009.

Second top goal scorer in the top flight, Weaka Wisseh scored the crucial goal from the penalty spot to see the red and white kayan pepper outfit clinched the maximum points.

Both teams mounted solemn pressure in an attempt to escalate more pressure on league leader LPRC Oilers for pole position of the top flight table.

With the Rollers, Barrolle engaged in a 4-4-2 formation that saw goal scorer Wisseh, Captain fantastic Nuzohn Kulala, dangerous winger Archie Harvey and others in control of the middle of the park as well as the striking force, BYC saw herself in a complete disarray with severe pressure from the kayan pepper boys.

Meanwhile, the president of Mighty Barrolle Mr. Garmondeh Karnga, who is also LFA Executive Committee (EC) member as well as Chairman of LFA Subcommittees, believes his boys can bounce back and clinch the LFA premiership.

In an interview with newsmen, the ardent follower foe football said Barrolle’s administration will do everything possible to motivate the players as they prepared for another plump encounter against LISCR, but this time around in the City of Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.

“The players have told us that they are on course to clinch the LFA 2009 premiership so we are happy to give them all the necessary support.

“The match with BYC was such a crucial one, and thank God we took the maximum points,” Mr. Karnga noted in a joyous mood.

At the same time, players of Mighty Barrolle will get the biggest boost ahead of the crucial battle against LISCR FC on Sunday, September 6, 2009 after the president of the club promised to pay not less than two months salaries of players.
