Barrolle Launches Membership Drive

The Mighty Barrolle Sports Association (BSA) has announced the launching of a membership drive, which is aimed at reinforcing the membership scheme that once existed at the association.

According to the association, the drive will also be used to get the focus of their regular members by identifying with the club through their financial and moral supports.

The Acting President of the Association, Mr. Garmondeh Karnga told a press conference that the drive will begin from December 15 to the March 15, 2008 and hopes that by the end of the exercise objectives of the association would be achieved.

He named five different categories including chapter members, sponsors, executive members/ leaders Chapter Members/ leaders and local members.

The Barrolle interim President said that people willing to register in the first category will automatically become board members while one has to pay US$100.00 as monthly contribution.

Membership in the second category, which is for executive members will automatically qualify one to contest for any position on the executive committee and will pay US$ 25.00 as monthly contribution. The rest of the categories will be LD$500.00, LD$250.00 and LD$ 50.00 as monthly contributions for the team
