Barrolle Continues Impressive Win


Mighty Barrolle on Sunday continued her impressive performance in the national football league when they flogged Black Star 4-1 before their home fans at the Nancy B. Doe Stadium in Margibi County.

Barrolle were optimistic before going away to Black Star over the weekend, and dominated the match throughout.

Earlier last week, the Rollers destroyed the Mighty Blue Angels 6-1 at the Doris B. Williams Sports Stadium in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.

Barrolle now sit in the second position of the premier division with 12 points behind the league leader, LISCR, who have13 points.

Speaking to this paper, the head coach of Barrolle, Christian Cole, boasted that his squad is not an easy target this season.

He said that he has skillful and talented young players who can cause the damage in a game, and further said that they are prepared to take over the league by dethroning LISCR FC.

In other matches over the weekend, NPA Anchor and Watanga FC settled to a zero all draw, while the Mighty Blue Angels dragged Bassa Defenders 2-0 in the first division.

In the female division, Tito United and Earth Angles settled to a 2- all draw.
