Hot to handle Liberia Football Association (LFA)
premier outfit Mighty Barrolle, under the tutelage of administratively
marvelous, Garmondeh Karnga, will battle LPRC Oilers in the semifinal
of the LFA 2009 knockout competition today at the Antoinette Tubman
Stadium (ATS).
The Rollers advanced to the semifinal with a
penalty kicks thrashing of Monrovia Club Breweries at the Antoinette
Tubman Stadium (ATS) in Monrovia.
The match between both sides could not end on
Wednesday due to poor visibility with only five minutes remaining with
the score line at 1-1.
The last five minutes ended yesterday with Archie
Harvey, alias Liberia’s Wright Philips scoring the crucial penalty,
while goalkeeper Tom Nimely saved the last to see the Rollers through.
The red and white kayan pepper boys will now meet
LPRC Oilers today to see which team meets Barrack Young Controller (BYC)
in the grand final of the LFA 2009 knock out final.
Meanwhile, BYC proved supremacy when the young
LFA premier outfit sank Invincible Eleven (IE) 2-0 in the other
semifinal match.
Matthew Dede put BYC ahead in the first stanza before Andrew Foday
Swaray scored the final goal to see the Sekou Konneh boys advanced to
the final.
