Following The Elimination Of U-Kings:
Barrolle Faces NPA Pythons In Grand Final
-As K-Delta, R. Legend Take 1-0 Lead Over Phoenix,
Flames

May 27,2003
Mighty Barrolle has reached the grand final of the Liberia Basketball Federation (LBF) league play-offs. The Rollers achieved the feat after she eliminated Uhuru Kings in their best of three series. Barrolle won two straight games over Uhuru Kings.

The Rollers will now meet the deadly NPA Pythons in the grand final. Pythons had earlier eliminated
defending champions, LPRC Oilers by winning two straight games also.

According to the fixture released by the LBF, the grand final in the Premier league commences this
Friday on a best out of five basis. In previous meeting, NPA Pythons have beaten Barrolle four times
this year.

But book makers say Mighty Barrolle will not sit to allow Pythons beat her again in the remaining crucial games. NPA Pythons’ god-father Jonathan Mason says his team will only play three matches in the best of five series to clinch the championship. It is now left with Barrolle to prove Mr. Mason wrong.

Meanwhile, K-Deltas has taken a 1-0 lead in their best of five series in the female division. K-Deltas
was awarded the game points after Phoenix walked off the floor because according to them the match officials did not officiate well.

In the first division final, Royal Legends beat the title favorites Flames to take a 1-0 lead. The second match could not come on due to technical problem at the Sports Commission. K-Deltas and Phoenix also could not play game two yesterday. The series continue on Wednesday this week.
