Barrolle Disgrace Roots 6-1; E. Angels Punish Shooters FC 19-0

The Liberia Football Association national league continued over the weekend with spectacular actions at various venues around the country.

In the Premier Division, Mighty Barrolle recorded the highest score this season when they disgraced Roots FC 6-1.

The match was played at the Doris Williams Sports Stadium in Grand Bassa County with thousands of Bassolians turning out to watch their home team.

Barrolle now occupies fourth position on the table with 9 points.

In another premier league match over the weekend, Black Star FC flogged defending LFA champions LPRC Oilers 3-1 at the Nancy B. Doe Stadium in Kakata, Margibi County.

In the match, Black Star was very outstanding and put up a spectacular display, subduing the visitors.

The defending champions tried to surprise Black Star with their stylish and European playing pattern, but Black Star fully concentrated on getting a win in front of their home crowd.

The win has taken Black Star on top of the premier league with 12 points, followed by LPRC Oilers with 11 points.

In the first division, Mighty Blue Angels and Alliance FC settled to a goalless draw at the Unification Town playing pitch in Habel, Margibi County.

On Saturday, Earth Angels recorded the biggest score of the season in the female division, when they smashed Shooters FC 19-0 at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.

The game saw almost all of Earth Angels players scoring a goal. Still in the female division, Tito United walloped Antares FC 6-1 in another goal- feast match.

In the second division, Exodus FC dumped Fulani 3-0, while Small Town International pipped Young professional a goal to nil.

At the Nancy B. Doe playing pitch in Kakata, Millennium Stars and ROZA FC settled to a 2- all draw, while N. G. Pirates and Diamond FC finished zero all.
