Ban Effected In School Sports Again

By Julu M. Johnson, Jr.

The Inter-School Sport Association (ISSA) has taken a tough action with the aim of curbing violence and cheating during its annual games.

According to ISSA President Joseph F. Willie, the Rocks International School in Paynesville has been banned for two years for engaging in violent acts, such as assaulting match referees and injuring ISSA officials and spectators at the SKD Sports Complex.

The ISSA President revealed the banning of Revival Temple AG School for two years for fielding an illegal player in McArthur Taylor.

Mr. Willie said the Revival Temple AG School under the name McArthur Moses of the Seventh Grade registered the player, who he said graduated from the Sinkor AG High School last academic term.

"It is better to have ten schools that are disciplined and honest than to have hundred schools that are bent on cheating by fielding gas sellers and graduates," stated Mr. Willie.
