BYC lands in
Freetown

LFA Knock out Champions Barrack Young Controllers has arrived in the
Sierra Leonean Capital, Freetown.
The Dark Horse is in that country to take part in an international
youth competition.
Barrack Young Controllers will rub shoulders with some highly rated
European, South American, and African sides in a week long
international soccer festival.
The event begins from the December 1 to 6 and it will be played at the
Siaka Stevens Sports Complex.
The 25 men high power Liberian delegation included officials of the
LFA and the club as players and members of their technical staff.
Star Radio’s Anthony Stephens also traveled with the team to Freetown
to provide coverage for that eventful gathering.
Here are the names of the teams expected to showcase in the
tournament.
Cruzeiro of Brazil, Ajax of Holland, FK Bodo/ Glimt of Norway and
Liberty Professionals of Ghana.
The rest are the Gambian Under -17 National Team, Barrack Young
Controllers of Liberia, Pepsi Academy team and the host FC Johasen of
Sierra Leone.
Our Reporter said momentum is very high with in the camp of BYC ahead
of the trip.
He quotes their Head Coach Abraham Sesay as saying his players were
committed to flying the flag of the country sky high in Sierra Leone.
BYC are making their first ever international journey since their
formation 17 years ago.
