BYC gets closer to title

Written by Olivia Swen

Barrack Young Controllers have returned to the second spot on the LFA Premiership table.

The Dark Horses did so with a promising 2-1 victory over UMC Roots on Thursday afternoon at the Nancy B. Doe Stadium in Kakata, Margibi County.

Samuel Thompson and Andrew Alperton were the scorers for BYC, while Alexander Sayon got the consolation for the Russian Supported side.

The result gives the well determined young controllers 60 points from 30 matches and cuts LPRC Oilers lead above them to just one point.

Both Oilers and BYC have 4 matches each left to the end of the current LFA Premiership chase.
