One of Liberia's leading Old Timers Associations, the
Barnersville Oldtimers Sports Association (BOSA) will on
February 11 hold its 34th anniversary in what should be a
festive exercise. According to the Chairman of the
organizing committee, Janjay Jacobs, the aniversary begins
on Armed Forces Day, February 11 and will run through
February 19 with a memorial tournament in honor of Sis.
Margaret B. Harris.
The event according to Mr. Jacobs will be played between
LONA teams as they remember BOSA's one time Iron Lady. Mr.
Jacobs further narrated that that the kick-off to mark the
opening of the tournament which takes place at the
Barnersville Estate SPorts pitch will be taken by
Montserrado County Senator Geraldine Doe Sheriff.
"There will also be an honoring program at the stadium wing
of the pitch with the likes of Robert Sirleaf (who funded
the building of the stadium at the Barnersville Estate
Sports stadium and other stadiums in the city of Monrovia
and its environs), Sen. Doe Sheriff, Willis Knuckles, Cllr.
Theophilus Gould, Hon.Hans Bachue (Dept. Speaker) Paul
Mulbah, Darlington George (Assistant Commissioner of the
