Liberia’s Alex Nimely was on target three times for Manchester City
Reserves in their comprehensive win over Bury in the Senior Cup at
Gigg Lane on Tuesday afternoon.
The striker began his goal scoring exploit 16 minutes into time from a
clinical finish.
Manchester City Reserves website reports Alex was to hard to handle as
he capped a MasterCard performance during the encounter.
City were 2-0 up just on the brink of the interval when Kieran
Trippier’s explosive run down the flank which was followed by a nice
cross was smartly deposited in by the Liberian.
Alex Nimely completed his hat trick on 65 minutes when he beautifully
fired home a Javan and Donal combine set up beyond the reach of the
opposing keeper.
The Liberian International had earlier missed a penalty three minute
before he grabbed his third goal when he smashed the ball against
Belford upright.
