Sando Joins George Baysah Club

South African First Division side FC-AK (Aziz Kara) formerly
Liberian midfielder Abu Sando has finally joined Liberian
defender George Baysah at Israeli Maccabi Umi El Fahm in the
Liga Leumit League, is the second club level league football
in Israel.
The midfielder left South African nearly two months ago to
honor tryout in Israel through the help of Mustapha Raji the
president of LISCR FC, but it has not been confirmed if Raji
invested some money in the Liberian trip or arranged the
deal. Mustapha is the middle man between Israeli agent and
Liberian players.
Although the worth of the deal remains secret, Abu said “I
am glad for the advancement in my career and I will do my
best for the club in the remaining matches “he noted.
The Liberian midfielder arrive the club with just nine games
left in the regular league. The club will part in one of the
three playoffs: the relegation playoff if they finish the
league among the last six team on the table or they may play
in the positional playoff that is play among the teams from
the 7th spot to the 11th on the table or the promotional
playoff among the top six teams on the table.
Abu arrived in South Africa nearly six years ago and clearly
honored the steps of football at FC-AK before he was signed
on few seasons ago. |
