Despite plying their trades in what is generally regarded as a modest or less fancy league, Liberian footballers continued to woo fans in the top flights of the biggest Islamic country, Indonesia.

Among the hottest Liberian players is Former Invincible Eleven (IE) lethal finisher Abel Quioh, alias "King Yellow" who is making headways in the Indonesian top flight as he continues to make life uneasy for opposing defenders.

The Liberian youngster performed incredibly well where he scored hat trick in his side’s, Persibo Bojonegoro 4-1 walloping of Persigo Gorontalo on Sunday, November 29, 2009 in continuation of the Indonesian league.

According to information gathered, the lad used skills, pace, strength and speed to collect the hat track and he was said to have been praised by the Indonesian press which referred to the hit man as one of the best foreign attackers in the in Indonesia.

King Yellow, as he is widely known in Liberian football, is expected to lead Persibo Bojonegoro attack from the right in a 3-4-3 formation against Persipro on Thursday, December 3, 2009.

The Liberian has expressed optimism of keeping his superb form as his side gears up to challenge for silver wears this season.

“I want to collect another hat track to help my team, Persibo move closer to the top of the table.

“We are in top form and I believe we can clinch the maximum three points against Persipro this week,” the former Invincible Eleven (IE) and LPRC Oilers lethal noted in a hopeful mood.

With the factual thought that "where one plays matters, but what one plays matters most, and it does not matter where one plays but what one plays, Abel Quioh, though in the virtually less glamorous league of Indonesian, his competitors and even the most unrealistic of critics can safely say he is a gem and is certainly a class act who is capable of conjuring and wooing any group of fans with his sublimely gifted qualities.

With the National football team of Liberia, Lone Star getting ready for 2012 Africa cup of nations and 2014 world cup qualifiers, the natural goal scorer, Abel Quioh, alias "King Yellow" and few players from Indonesia will be the ones Liberia will depend on for success.
