By Siebo Williams

After exhausting all possible means to have proper redress in the crisis at the Liberia National Olympic Committee, Mr. Clemenceau B. Urey, will finally get justice.

According to reports received by our Correspondent, the Chairman of the National Transitional Government of Liberia (NTGL, Charles Gyude Bryant has set up a probe committee to properly investigate the Liberia National Olympic Committee (MLNO) crisis, which saw one faction of the Executive Committee expelling their president, while another faction of the Executive Committee declared their colleagues action null and void because it was not constitutional.

Chairman Bryant has named T. Boley Kokieh as Chairman of the Probe Committee, while Dr. Evelyn Kandakai--Minister of Education, Dr. Oliver Duncan--President of the United Methodist University, Rev. Dr. Walter Richards--Chairman Board of Trustee University of Liberia and Mrs. Amelia Ward--Economic Advisor will serve as members.

According to the report, Committee is to probe all allegations and counter-allegations levied by Mr.Clemenceau Urey and the other LNOC Executive Committee Members, who purportedly expelled their President.

It can be recalled Mr. URey filed a series of complaints to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the National Transitional Assembly (NTLA) Standing Committee on Sports and Chairman Charles Gyude Bryant, as well as the IOC Arbitration Court in Lausanne, Switzerland to properly investigate the LNOC crisis, which had to do with financial improprieties among others.

It said Mr. Urey did not get proper redress until recently when Chairman Bryant set up this committee to actually probe the crisis.

This development is being welcome by sports lovers who followed the LNOC crisis but were disappointed over the way the matter was handled by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Meanwhile, Mr. Clemenceau Urey said he was happy that he is about to finally get justice in keeping with the spirit of good governance.

He said he was happy that such a committee is set because it is important that Liberians know the truth and nothing but the truth of what happened in the LNOC.
